Georgia Fowler Launches bond-eye swimwear Collection For New And Expectant Mothers

Australian swimwear brand bond-eye has announced a new collaboration with model and mother-of-two Georgia Fowler.

Australian swimwear brand bond-eye has announced a new collaboration with model and mother-of-two Georgia Fowler.

The collaboration marks Georgia’s long-awaited return to design and is the first campaign the 31-year-old has fronted since welcoming her second child.

Drawing upon her own experience of fashion and motherhood, Georgia was hands-on during the design process, ensuring the collection resonates with new and expectant mothers.

“I’ve always wanted to design collections that everybody feels confident and empowered wearing,” Georgia tells THE INARRA. “Being pregnant and becoming a mother further highlights this importance. It’s easier to understand what you want in a swimsuit when you’ve personally experienced it.”

“I wore bond-eye swimsuits throughout my entire pregnancy, as the fabric allows for comfortable stretch without sheerness or lining that digs into your new curves.”

Designed and handcrafted in Australia, the 32-piece collection is made from bond-eye’s signature four-way stretch fabrication: Authentic Crinkle™. Perfect for new and expectant mums, one size fits all with swimsuits catering to A to DD/E cups, while bikini briefs can be worn below or over the bump.

In five classic colourways, the edit features a range of styles, from the timeless Guinness One Piece to the Georgia Balconette and Brief. “The collection was inspired by ethereal, natural colours that transport us to our ideal holiday destinations,” Georgia says. “Think golden hues and crystal clear waters.”

“Finding a one-piece that fits your pregnant belly comfortably is no easy feat, but bond-eye’s fabrication stretches over the bump perfectly without overly shortening the torso! I lived in the strapless one-piece designs. They have just the right amount of coverage and still feel effortlessly cool.”

Georgia and partner Nathan Dalah welcomed their first child, a daughter named Dylan, in September 2021 shortly after tying the knot. The couple announced the birth of their second child, a son named Zeke, in February 2024.

“Similarly, new breastfeeding mums will notice their bust popping out of most pre-pregnancy swimwear,” she continues. “Post-baby, I have loved wearing bond-eye underwire bikini tops – they’re soft, therefore safe and comfortable for breastfeeding mums (unlike most underwire). They broaden to fit your new shape as needed and offer the support that is necessary.”

bond-eye swim is a love letter to the Sydney summer: its heady salty air and endless glimmer of sunshine. The brand’s unwavering love of the coastline extends to its circular design policy with a commitment to reducing its environmental footprint. Each piece is designed and made with intention, working alongside female-led communities in partner factories and fabric mills.

bond-eye’s unsized policy not only makes for swimwear that will never fall out of style but also universally adored silhouettes that help reduce waste with recycled packaging, tags, labels, and trims. The new collection will be available to shop online now – just in time for European summer. View our 5 picks from the collection below.
