Winter Pregnancy Skincare That Feels Like a Little Luxury

The products that are keeping my skin soft, hydrated, and glowing through winter.

By Courtney McIntosh

When I first found out I was pregnant again, I promised myself something: I would keep a little piece of the day just for me. It’s so easy, especially in early pregnancy, to put yourself last. between tiredness, work, family, and the emotional swirl of it all, the idea of a “ritual” can feel laughably indulgent. But I’ve realised those small, grounding moments are the very thing that make me feel like myself.

For me, that’s looked like turning my bathroom into a little sanctuary each night and a place where I can exhale, slow down, and care for my body as it changes. And at the centre of that ritual? Sans Ceuticals.

Sans Ceuticals is the ultimate daily self-care regimen. Using it feels like stepping into a luxury bath house, right in my own home. The products smell subtle but incredible with nothing being overpowering, just that perfectly clean, calming scent that makes you instantly want to breathe deeper. They’re also pregnancy and breastfeeding safe, which is so important to me right now.

The Products I’ve Been Loving

As it’s the height of winter here in Australia and along with the unpredictability of early pregnancy, my skin has been drier, more sensitive, and in need of extra nourishment. So I’ve been reaching for products that actually work but are still gentle enough for this stage of life.

Activator 7 Body, Hair & Face Oil
If I could only pick one, this would be it. I’ve been massaging it into my belly at night, but it’s so multi-purpose I’ve used it on my hair ends, cuticles, and even as an extra boost under my moisturiser. It’s rich without being greasy and leaves my skin feeling silky and calm.

Barrier Restore Body & Hand Butter
This is a bathroom vanity and bedside table essential. My hands have been so dry this winter, and this cream just melts in. It’s also perfect for elbows, knees, and anywhere else that needs some TLC.

Bio Active Body Exfoliant
I’ve been using this once or twice a week in the shower to gently buff away dryness and keep my skin smooth. It’s not harsh, just the right amount of polish to leave skin soft and prepped for oil or butter.

Goji Cleansing Oil
A total game changer for tired, end-of-day skin. It removes everything (yes, even mascara) without stripping, and my face actually feels hydrated afterwards. On nights I’m feeling extra flat, I’ll take a minute to really massage it in and it feels like a mini facial (heaven!).

Why I love Them

I love these products because they make me feel cared for without any fuss. I’m not carving out two hours for a spa day, this is self-care that slips seamlessly into my routine. Everything in the range delivers results but is formulated without harmful ingredients, so I can feel good about using them every single day of this pregnancy.

In these early weeks, my Sans Ceuticals ritual has become more than just skincare, it’s a daily reminder that my needs matter too. For ten, maybe fifteen minutes, I can stand in a warm bathroom, breathe in that subtle, beautiful scent, and feel grounded in my own body, even as it grows and changes in ways that can sometimes feel unfamiliar. This small ritual has become a gentle practice in self-love and appreciation.

Because pregnancy is a wild ride. Some days you feel glowing, others you’re just surviving. But having these small, sensory moments that feel good, smell good, and actually do good for your skin? That’s the kind of everyday luxury I’ll be holding onto all the way through.
